Each batch of Mezcal Amores is subtly different, reflecting the essence and character of the village where the expression is created. It also expresses the individuality and experience of the maestro mezcalero.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eOrganically grown agave is carefully selected and harvested by hand at the perfect time. Then, mezcaleros cook it with oak chips for a subtle smokiness. A mule-pulled stone wheel (tahona) mills it, then the agave naturally ferments in open wooden vats. Finally the maestro mezcalero personally controls double distillation in a copper still to produce the perfectly balanced spirit.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis mezcal is sweet, almost peaty smoke on the nose, with tropical fruit notes and freshly cooked sweetcorn.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eA group of friends founded the brand Mezcal Amores in 2010.
