The Mitchell family originally founded the distillery. The J\u0026amp;A Mitchell group has owned it since rebuilding and resuming production in 2004.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eGlengyle Distillery completes every stage of whisky production on-site. Its sister distillery, Springbank, carries out traditional floor malting. The team bottles each release in Campbeltown’s bottling hall.
