Kilkerran Heavily Peated Batch 9 matured in 90% bourbon and 10% sherry casks. This adds a fruity, sweet character alongside its savoury peat centre.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIt was bottled in 2023 at 59.2% ABV and there is no added colour and no chill filtering.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eKilkerran Single Malt is produced at the historic Campbeltown distillery, Glengyle, originally founded by the Mitchell family and owned by the J\u0026amp;A Mitchell group since its re-build and resumption of production in 2004. All production takes place onsite, from malting the barley to bottling the finished whisky.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eSharing a production team and calendar with the neighbouring Springbank Distillery, Glengyle has a short production period of around three months per year.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eEnjoy Kilkerran Heavily Peated Batch 9 neat or with a splash of water to fully unlock its complex flavour profile.
