The story behind Vintersol Distillery is shaped by an unconventional founder, Sasha Bladt-Cohen, whose path into distillation was anything but typical. Originally working in corporate intelligence, Bladt-Cohen developed an interest in spirits through bartending and began experimenting with distillation in southern France. What started as a personal project gradually evolved into a focused pursuit, leading him to establish Vintersol in London in 2019.
As both CEO and head distiller, he brings a methodical and detail-oriented approach to the craft, reflected in the distillery’s clean, precise flavour profiles and its commitment to Scandinavian-inspired spirits such as aquavit, alongside a growing range of gins.
Supported by a founding team with similarly analytical and technical backgrounds, Vintersol combines creativity with discipline, resulting in a distillery that feels both contemporary and deeply rooted in tradition.
