Amores Mezcal Espadin Joven is a spicy, smoky artisan mezcal from an independent and authentic Mexican producer.
Espadín and Cupreata are two single-varietal mezcals reflecting their terroir - 100% Espadín (Angustifolia) agave from Oaxaca State, grown 7 to 10 years; and 100% Cupreata (Papalote) agave, grown for between 8 to 13 years, from Guerrero State. Each batch of Mezcal Amores is subtly different, reflecting the essence and character of the village where the expression is created, as well as the individuality and experience of the maestro mezcalero.
Organically grown agave is carefully selected and harvested by hand at the perfect time, before cooking with oak chips for a subtle smokiness. A mule-pulled stone wheel (tahona) mills it gently, and producers then naturally ferment it in open wooden vats. Finally the maestro mezcalero personally controls double distillation in a copper still to produce the perfectly balanced spirit.
A group of friends founded the brand Mezcal Amores in 2010. After making several trips to different mezcal producing states in the country, they developed a deep rooted love for these regions and this magical spirit.

Tasting Notes
Nose: Subtle citrus aroma of bergamot and a slight but sweet touch of cherry blossom.
Palate: Touch of santal wood at the start, closing with a hint of sweet ripe mango.
Finish: A velvety and salted texture before a small cinnamon touch takes over.
