Cedro do Noval Red 2022 is a top-quality Portuguese red wine made by the Noval winery, famous for its port but just as skilled in its classic winemaking.
Cedro, named after the emblematic tree that dominates the terrace of Quinta do Noval, is an authentic expression of the Douro's warm, sunny terroir.
This wine is made from a blend of five different separately-fermented grapes, many native to the Douro region. It also includes Syrah, which rounds out and opens up the fruit for a beautifully approachable flavour.
It then spends 11 months in French oak barrels to add a deliciously spicy flavour.

Tasting Notes
The nose is intense, revealing floral aromas and ripe red fruits. Beautiful notes of wood are complemented by spices and dark chocolate. On the palate, it is concentrated, with expressive fruity notes and a very evident freshness. The finish is long and complex, with tannins that balance the wine exceptionally.
